Dealing With Dry Skin Naturally – DIY Wintertime Herbal Whipped Body Butter

During the wintertime, dry skin is a problem for pretty much everyone out there, but it can be even worse for those working in jobs where they are washing their hands frequently. If you are dealing with dry, cracked skin, then you are likely feeling the pain of trying to heal during the wintertime! I have worked in the service industry in the past, having to wash my hands frequently, doing the dishes with harsh soaps several times a shift, and cleaning with harsh cleaners every day. All this wear and tear takes a toll on the hands. Wanting to make an extra moisturizing body butter, I took it a step further and infused the oils with skin healing herbs to help heal hands, while deeply moisturizing his skin. It turns out, this herbal infused body butter works so well that I use it for all of our skin healing needs now.

DIY Herbal Goddess Soapnuts Shampoo

When I first learned about making my own shampoo with soapnuts, I was very excited. I have been on a journey this year to learn the many ways that I can no-poo my hair and soapnuts was on the list to try out. After I first made this shampoo, I haven't turned back. My hair is super soft after using this shampoo and didn't cause me to have to detox again with my no-poo regime. This has been my favorite herbal shampoo to date! My hair is still growing like a weed, something that it used to never do before I became my hippy self. Someday soon, I will achieve my goal of having “mermaid hair”!

Over a year ago I shared my recipe for the shaving cream that I accidentally made when I messed up the dish soap I was trying to make. DIY Natural Peppermint Antiseptic Mouthwash
